Widgets and Data Sources

When creating overlays for your activities, you can display various widgets. However, the availability of some widgets depends on the data present in your GPX file. Here's a comprehensive overview of what widgets you can use and what data they require:

Important Notes

  • Basic Data: Latitude and longitude are always present in GPX files, so speed-based widgets are always available.
  • Elevation Data: Most GPX files include elevation data, enabling grade and altitude-related widgets.
  • Additional Sensors: Heart rate, power, and cadence require specific sensors during activity recording.
  • Temperature: Temperature data is less common in GPX files - it depends on your recording device's capabilities.

Missing widgets?

  • If in the app you don't see a widget you want to display and you think the data is available in your GPX file, let me know immediately.
  • If you need any other widget to display on your overlays and it's not on the list, let me know.
